Your Wealth Coaching And Financial Planning Process

YOUR WEALTH COACHING AND FINANCIAL PLANNING PROCESS

In order to help you maximize your potential for success in all areas of your financial life, we take a disciplined, comprehensive approach.  Our approach is a five step process that leads us to your personalized Wealth Solution:  Discovery, Analysis, Development, Implementation, Review & Monitoring.

STEP 1 – DISCOVERY

One of the most important components of any successful advisory relationship is truly understanding who you are as a person.  With our Discovery Process we focus on what matters most to you. We will explore all the major aspects of your financial life, including your specific values and goals, as well as time horizon, income and liquidity needs and your ability and willingness to take risk.  We will explore how all of your financial objective fit with the most important aspects of your life.  Together, we will create your personal definition of financial success and work with you to translate this into achievable, prioritized goals.  As a part if this step, we will also make a “Mutual Commitment” to working together and putting your plan in place.

STEP 2 – ANALYSIS

In order for us to thoroughly understand what matters most to you, we will take a comprehensive inventory of your current financial position, including strengths as well as any gaps or weaknesses.

STEP 3 – DEVELOPMENT

Based on the outcome of our analysis, we will develop a life-long wealth plan focused on getting you from where you are today to where you want to be in the future. Through this step in the process, we will address any items that need clarification, and make any alterations based on additional information provided.  We believe that an open, honest dialogue about what matters most to you, your financial needs, beliefs, expectations, and concerns, is critical to any successful advisory relationship.

STEP 4 – IMPLEMENTATION

The next step is the implementation of your plan.  In addition to creating your investment portfolio we will also collaborate with a team of non-affiliated financial professionals to address all of your non-investment action items we have identified.  You will receive an Investment Policy Statement (IPS), which documents what we have agreed to and assigns responsibility and accountability.

STEP 5 – MONITORING

Your life is never static.  Neither is your plan.  This is why we make our Discovery Process part of our ongoing meetings, so that your plan always reflects your life in the present and the future.  We will monitor your plan closely and provide you with clear and concise reporting.  In addition, as financial markets rise and fall, your portfolio’s exposure to stocks, bonds, cash and other investments will tend to fluctuate as well.  Our primary goal is achieve consistent long term results while smoothing out the everyday volatility that comes with being an investor.  Through periodic rebalancing and constant monitoring we will help make sure your portfolio maintains its target allocations.  This ultimately helps control the level of risk in your portfolio and minimizes the damaging effects of emotional decision making.
